KLA Corporation (“KLA”, “we”, or “us”) and its affiliates and subsidiaries describe in this Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) our collection and processing of your personal information obtained through your interactions with us. This includes information collected through our websites and online platforms, purchase or license our products and solutions, download or interact with our software applications, register for or participate in our in-person or virtual events, communicate with our customer support teams, or otherwise engage with any services, programs, or features we provide globally (collectively, the “Services”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it responsibly.
The following supplements apply to and should be read in combination with this Privacy Notice:
This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use our Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice. Personal Information KLA Collects
The term(s) “Personal information”, “personally identifiable information”, or “personal data” (collectively referred to as “personal information”), means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked (directly or indirectly) to an individual.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 16, you are not permitted to use the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete that information promptly.
KLA collects personal information both directly, when you voluntarily provide it, and automatically when you use the Services, as described below:
Personal Information You Might Provide: KLA may collect personal information when you engage with certain online features or services. Such information may include, but is not limited to, contact details (e.g., name, job title, company affiliation, photograph, email address, physical address, telephone number, and fax number) and any data required to verify your eligibility for specific services or to facilitate transactions. While providing personal information is voluntary, please be advised that failure to do so may limit KLA’s ability to process your communications or provide certain online services.
Information Collected Automatically: KLA may collect information about your activity on its websites, including dates and times, pages visited, duration on each page, interactions with webpage content and hyperlinks, and the use of web beacons or similar technologies. Additionally, we may gather technical information such as your Internet Service Provider (ISP), Mobile Advertising ID, Media Access Control (MAC) address, and browser cookie identifiers. KLA respects browser-based opt-out preference signals, including but not limited to Global Privacy Control. If you have enabled an opt-out preference signal, KLA will honor that signal and will not sell or share your personal data under applicable law. Some browsers may have “Do Not Track” (DNT) settings. If you have enabled DNT settings in your browser, which indicates that you prefer that our websites not track your browsing activity, KLA will make reasonable efforts to respect them.
Information Obtained from Third Parties: We may receive personal information from third parties, such as vendors, suppliers, service providers, and public institutions operating in regions where we conduct business. These third parties may include advertising and marketing firms, data and information vendors, public database providers, social media platforms, product and service partners, event hosts or vendors, research collaborators, enterprises deploying our services or integrated offerings, and other service providers. We take reasonable measures to ensure that any information obtained from these sources has been collected with your consent or that the disclosing parties are otherwise legally authorized to share your personal information with us.
How KLA Uses Personal Information
KLA uses personal information collected to meet our legitimate business interests, including the following business and commercial purposes:
To Communicate: We use identifiers such as your name, address, phone number, and email to provide requested services, respond to inquiries and customer service requests, communicate with you in connection with your interaction or relationship with KLA, and send alerts about policy changes, security updates, or expiring subscriptions, and share marketing or informational materials like newsletters or product updates, in accordance with your preferences. Occasionally, we may conduct surveys, offer promotions, or request voluntary participation in research; these activities include additional notices explaining how your information will be used.
For Business Operations: We use certain personal information to perform accounting, auditing, billing, and collection activities, fulfill orders and manage business relationships, verify identity and comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, protect our rights, meet contractual requirements, recruit individuals for employment, execute agreements or transactions, and meet KLA’s legal obligations with regards to the agreement or transaction.
For Functionality, Development, and Improvement: We use online identifiers (such as IP address and device ID) and internet activity data to secure our websites and services, analyze usage trends and improve user experience, personalize content and measure marketing effectiveness, and may also use geolocation data to enhance security and provide location-based services, subject to your device settings.
For Product Updating and Reporting: We rely on certain personal information to deliver software updates and ensure systems function properly, as well as analyze performance and maintain service quality.
For Advertising and Marketing: We may combine your device’s location with browsing data and purchase history to provide personalized content and offers and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. You can manage location-sharing preferences through your device settings.
Marketing may include sending you communications about our products and services or other communications targeted at your interests. If you do not wish us to use your email address or other contact information for our direct marketing purposes, do not select the opt-in option in the online form in which we collect your data. If you initially opt-in but change your mind, you can opt-out by replying to a promotional email we have sent and indicating your preference to unsubscribe, or by sending us an email stating your request to webmaster@kla.com.
In some cases, we use automated processes to predict your interest in products or services and detect and prevent fraud or other unlawful activity. Where automated decisions have a legal or significant effect, we implement safeguards such as privacy impact assessments or obtain your explicit consent if required by law. You have the right to contest such decisions and request human review.
For Compliance and Investigation: We may use your personal information to investigate suspected unlawful acts or unethical conduct and comply with the law and KLA’s Standards of Business Conduct to protect the rights, property, or safety of KLA, our users, and others.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations such as maintaining opt-out lists or meeting mandatory record retention requirements, honor individual consent, resolve disputes, and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and its use, and are determined by factors including statutory requirements, pending or potential litigation, intellectual property rights, contractual obligations, operational needs, and historical archiving. When personal information is removed from our systems, it is securely deleted, de-identified, or destroyed using protocols designed to prevent reconstruction or readability.
Who We Provide Your Personal Information To
KLA may provide your personal information to third parties under specific circumstances, as outlined below:
Corporate Affiliates: KLA may disclose your information to certain third parties as described below. KLA may disclose your personal information with our corporate subsidiaries worldwide.
Service Providers and Agents: KLA may disclose personal information with outside service providers or agents. These outside service providers or agents are only authorized to use the information on KLA’s behalf for purposes such as to provide services or products you have requested, perform billing and collection, or help us manage and analyze data and improve the Websites.
Advertising and Marketing Providers: KLA may share your information with advertisers, marketing businesses, and other entities that help us to create, deliver, and assess our advertising and marketing campaigns and learn more about you and other users of our online services.

Third Party Websites
KLA Websites may include links to sites operated by third parties, including social media platforms. This does not mean that KLA endorses these sites, nor are we responsible for their content or policies. Third party sites are governed by their own privacy policies. You should familiarize yourself with the privacy notice of other sites you visit as it will govern any information you provide through that site.
Security
KLA has implemented reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from accidental loss or unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. However, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. The Websites use HTTP Secure (“HTTPS”) for secure communications. KLA websites use Transport Layer Security (“TLS”) to protect information collected through the websites. In addition, KLA restricts access to your personal information. Only employees who need personal information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to personal information. Although KLA uses efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of the personal information that we may process.
International Compliance
The personal information collected through across our products, online services, software apps, and other services and functionality globally is stored on servers located in the United States and maintained by service providers under contract with KLA. By submitting your personal information and completing any applicable consent forms, you consent to the transfer of your personal information as described in this Privacy Notice.
Personal information may be transferred to and from the United States and other countries where KLA operates. Recipients of such information include those identified in the section “Who We Provide Your Information To”, who are located either in the United States or in the country where the data was collected.

Legal Bases for Processing: KLA processes your personal information on several legal bases, in accordance with applicable regulations. These bases include the fulfillment of a business contract when applicable, compliance with legal obligations, such as when disclosure to law enforcement agencies or governmental authorities is required by law, or with your explicit consent.
KLA also processes personal information as necessary for its legitimate interests which may include marketing and advertising (subject to opt-in and opt-out requirements) where your information about products and services you have ordered or shown interest in is used to provide you with relevant updates in accordance with applicable law.
Additionally, legitimate interests cover network and information security, fraud prevention, and reporting suspected criminal acts; for example, in the event of fraud, a security incident, or a suspected criminal act, KLA may examine personal information linked to the incident to determine what happened, remediate, report to authorities, and prevent recurrence.
Other legitimate interests include internal administrative and support purposes within the group of companies, exercising legal rights or defending legal claims, facilitating the orderly transition of all or part of the business or its assets, and protecting or defending the rights or property of KLA or third parties (including enforcing agreements, policies, and terms of use, or acting in emergency situations to protect the safety of employees or any person, and to prevent fraud).
Recipients in Third Countries: The personal information that KLA collects or receives about you may be transferred to and processed by recipients located both within and outside the EEA+, including countries that are not recognized under EEA+ law as providing an adequate level of data protection. For example, when you interact with KLA’s site or contact KLA, your personal data may be transferred to the United States. KLA may also transfer your data to its affiliates and business partners in other countries and regions where it operates. In cases where your personal data is transferred to countries that do not provide an adequate level of protection under EU, Swiss, or UK law, KLA relies on appropriate safeguards as required by Article 46 of the GDPR and UK GDPR, such as the use of standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission. Failure to Provide Personal Information
If required data is not provided, KLA may be unable to deliver requested services or fulfill contractual obligations.
Your Choices and Rights
KLA will respond to requests to exercise individual data rights in accordance with applicable law. Requests can be submitted through the Privacy Request Form. The rights available to you depend on your jurisdiction, and KLA will assess and respond to each request in line with applicable legal requirements.
